Our JV had one of their best postgame celebrations of the year in the East corner of the Rams stadium at 6:45 p.m. Friday as they racked up their 9th consecutive win of the season. Tracy won it with superb defense and a mix of passing and rushing that frustrated the Rams for four quarters.
The league title and a perfect season is within sight but the Dogs have to take care of business next week vs Kimball so the celebration can be even sweeter.
Scoring Summary:
St. Mary's has a promising 1st drive that ends with a 24 yard field goal. 3-0
The Tracy scoring dominance begins with a 60 yard run by Liam Young. The extra point by Miguel Pena gives Tracy a 7-3 lead with 4:19 left in the quarter.
The Tracy defense swarms the Rams and returns the ball to the Bulldogs.
Q2 - 5:19 - Jordan Alvarado with a 12 yard run. 14-3 with the Pena extra point.

Q3 - A kickoff return by Liam Young is nullified due to a penalty.

The Tracy defense kept Lincoln off the board for 90 percent of the game until 3:37 left in the contest, meanwhile the offense put 21 first half points on the Trojans to quickly control the game.
With 7:24 left in the first quarter, Liam Young scored on a 37 yard run. The extra point by Miguel Pena made it 7-0.
Evan Velasco had 79 yard run that setup Young to score his 2nd touchdown from 6 yards out with 2:14 left in the quarter. 14-0.
With the defense frustrating Lincoln, JD Palumo added another Bulldog touchdown with a 1 yard keeper. The Pena extra point made it 21-0 with 5:07 left in the half.
Dominic Bellini had a highlight interception with 4:10 left, but Tracy would then throw an interception to give Lincoln their only big play of the first half. The half would end on a nice sack by Daniel Craig. 21-0.
With 3:14 left in the 3rd, Palumbo kept the ball again on a 4 yard score. The extra point was blocked 27-0.
Tracy put up one more score with 8:09 left in the game when Palumbo found Jordan Alvarado on a 6 yard TD pass. 34-0.
Lincoln got on the scoreboard with a 16 yard touchdown pass with 3:37 left in the game. The 2 point run was no good.

For the 2nd game in a row, our JV shutout their opponent. The Bulldogs dominated Lodi on Friday night as the Dogs picked up their 7th straight win with 3 games left in the season.
The defense only gave up one really big play and that was on the first play from scrimmage as the Lodi quarterback swept right for substantial yardage. From their the defense locked down and put heavy 4th down pressure on the quarterback that resulted in a Pick 6 by Dominic Bellini. Unfortunately, a penalty placed the ball at the Lodi 31 to start the Tracy drive.
With 5:10 left in the first quarter, Tracy got on the board with a two yard run by JD Palumbo. The extra point by Miguel Pena made it 7-0.
In the 2nd quarter Liam Young rushed for two yards to put Tracy up 13-0. The XP was blocked.
With 7:56 left before halftime, Jordan Alvarado took an interception to the house but another penalty placed the ball on the Lodi 30. With 2:15 left, Young found the end zone again on a 36 yard run. The 2 point conversion was no good and Tracy took a 19-0 lead into the locker room.
At the 7:59 mark of the 3rd quarter, Young scored again this time on a 49 yard run on the first Tracy series of the half.
AJ Byrd joined the scoring party as he dodged several defenders along his 14 yard path to the end zone. The Pena XP made it 32-0.
In the 4th, Tracy added one more score on a 71 yard touchdown run by Alvarado. The 2 point pass to Byrd pushed Tracy to 40 points.
Tracy will now host Lincoln on Homecoming Friday in a critical league game.
Edison JV
JV ROLLING WITH 6-0 RECORD

It would not be easy for Tracy to defend their undefeated record as they began league on the road against a physical opponent. Both teams started out slow looking for their rhythm and it would not be until 1:10 left in the half before Tracy would find the scoreboard on a 5 yard run by Liam Young who rushed hard all game. At halftime up 6-0, the coaching staff complimented the play of the defense who had kept Edison silenced.
The game would get very sluggish in the 2nd half with lots of penalties and other stoppages. Finally with 5:50 left in the game Tracy put 6 more points on the board as AJ Byrd rushed from 3 yards out. A 2 point conversion from JD Palumbo to Daniel Craig would finish the scoring at 14-0.
JV REMAIN UNDEFEATED WITH 21-20 VICTORY

Liam Nelson got the party started for Tracy with a kickoff return to the house to give Tracy a quick 7-0 lead.
With 6:04 left in the quarter, PV connected on a 25 yard touchdown pass to get 7 on the board (14-7).
PV would go up 14-7 with 1:13 left in the first quarter.
With 1:13 left before the half and Tracy marching, JD Palumbo saw that no one was defending up the middle and he bolted up the middle for the Tracy 2nd score of the game that tied the game entering the half.
PV would run some razzle dazzle to start the 3rd and produced a 56 yard touchdown pass. The XP was no good PV 20 - Tracy 14.
PV penalties on a late 3rd quarter Tracy drive kept the Bulldogs marching down the field. Palumbo would find Dominic Bellini for a score and go up 21-20.
With 9:32 left in the game, Bellini intercepted near midfield, but Tracy could not do anything on their possession.
With the game entering the 5 minute mark, the Tracy defense comes up big and stops PV on a 4th and 2 at the PV 44. Tracy would play inspiring offense on their final series to pick up several first downs and claim a very enthusiastic and well deserved victory to finish the first half 5-0.
JV GET ANOTHER IMPRESSIVE WIN

The JV Bulldogs (now 4-0) faced a strong opponent that played physical ball with Dogs. The Bulldogs showed their a quality team in 2025 and in the win they showcased how good their offensive and defensive line play was. JD Palumbo led the Bulldogs with 3 touchdowns.
Liberty would strike first in the game putting together a long opening drive that culminated with a 4 yard run to go up 6-0 with 4:42 left in the quarter.
Tracy would respond quickly as JD Palumbo would score on a 58 yard keeper. The first of three extra points by Miguel Pena gave Tracy a 7-6 lead.
Entering the 2nd quarter the Tracy defense held and gave their offense the ball back. Palumbo would score again this time from short yardage. The Pena kick made it 14-6 Tracy with 1:46 left.
Liberty took the ensuing kickoff to the house but their 2 point conversion was no good making it 14-12 at the half.
Tracy would begin to dominate time of possession in the 2nd half and convened a very long drive scoring from 2 yards out on a Luke Navas rush.. The extra point made it 21-12. Ghaffaar Owolya would recover a fumble on the kickoff.
In the 4th quarter, Palumbo scored his 3rd touchdown on a short run. The extra point was no good and Tracy led 27-12.
Liberty would get a late score to close the game at 27-18.

Note: The scoreboard forgot to add a 2 point conversion early in the game therefore the final score was 41-13.
It would take awhile for Tracy to get on the scoreboard in this game, but with 4 seconds left in the first, Evan Velasco scored on a short run followed by a Miguel Pena extra point 7-0.
In the 2nd quarter with 6:37 left in the half, Luke Navas broke off a long run that set up a JD Palumbo rushing touchdown from 2 yards out. Palumbo would keep the ball for the 2 point conversion 15-0.
With 3:39 left in the half, Dominic Bellini had a long punt return that set up an AJ Byrd rushing touchdown. 21-0 at the half.
On the first series of the 3rd quarter Luke Navas scored on a 47 yard rush. 27-0.
With 40 seconds left in the 3rd, Daniel Craig scored from 24 yards out. With the Pena extra point Tracy had a 34-0 lead.
MH got on the board with a 52 touchdown pass with 8:48 left in the game. 34-7.
Q4, 5:35: Mylles Posten scored from 1yard out. The extra point by Pena made it 41-7.
MH added another score with a long touchdown pass with under a minute left. 41-13.
