JV played one of their best games of the year as they took it to St. Mary's and walked into a jubilant locker room at the half leading 28-0. They ended up adding another score in the 2nd half to finish off the Rams. The win pushed the Bulldogs to 6-3 / 3-1 on the season and put St. Mary's at 2-2 in league. The Bulldogs will face Kimball (0-3) next week after Kimball plays Edison (1-2) on Saturday Oct 26. Lincoln sits at the top of the TCAL with a 4-0 record and will face St. Mary's next week.
Game Summary
Tracy showed their defense came ready to play early as they stripped the ball from a Rams receiver on the first drive deep in Tracy territory. Kaeden Gulko would then lead Tracy on a long first drive that culminated with Gulko rushing for a score from 9 yards out. Kevin Barbosa would get the point after to go up 7-0 with 3:55 left.
The Tracy line then flushed the Rams QB out of his pocket and he threw a ball that was picked off by Ryan Foster near midfield.
Q2 - Jayden Ballard-McClellan would score on the first play of the 2nd quarter on a 25 yard run. Barbosa's point after made it 14-0 with 9:36 left in the half.
8:25 - David Grisham had a beautiful interception near midfield and returned it to the 10 yard line. Dougie Hewey would then score from 5 yards out. The point after was blocked and Tracy held a 20-0 lead.
With 1:28 left Gulko found AJ Saenz on a pass over the middle for an approximate 50 yard score. The 2 point conversion was good to put Tracy at 28-0 entering the half.
Q3 - There would be no scoring in the 3rd quarter as Tracy controlled the clock on a long drive.
Q4 - The Rams got on the board with 7:16 left in the game on an 11 yard touchdown pass. 28-7.
Case Borges would get the final Tracy score with 5:52 left on a 59 yard rush.
With 4:58 remaining, the Rams got their 2nd touchdown of the game to complete their scoring at 35-14.

The JV are now 5-3 / 2-1 in league after the 17-13 loss at Lincoln on Friday.
Scoring Summary:
Q1 - A long opening drive by Lincoln ends with a score taking the clock down to 4:18. 7-0.
David Grisham then has a nice kickoff return to midfield. The drive ends with a score by Ramsey Ahmad at the end of the first quarter on a short rush. The kick by Kevin Barbosa makes it 7-7.
Q2 - Tracy establishes a nice long drive late in the 2nd quarter but a turnover thwarts a scoring opportunity. The half ends at 7-7.
Q3 - The start of the 2nd half begins with an onside kick recovered by the Trojans. With 7:37 left Lincoln scores to extend their lead to 14 - 7.
4:50 - Tracy fumbles at the Lincoln 34. Lincoln eventually gets deep in Tracy territory but the defense holds at the one, and forces a field goal to make it Tracy 7 - Lincoln 17 at the end of the quarter.
Q4 - With 3:50 left in the game, Case Borges scores on a 44 yard run. The point after which turns into a 2 point attempt is no good. 17-13.
Tracy is unable to recover an onside kick, their defense ultimately holds with a minute left, but the offense cannot execute a final scoring drive with time running out in the game.

Tracy JV had smothering defense and a series of offensive strikes to easily defeat Lodi and improve their record to 5-2 overall and 2-0 in league.
With the Bulldog defense giving up just one big yardage play in the first half they sat back and watched their offense put up 36 points before halftime.
Q1, 6:23 - Case Borges gets Tracy on the board early with a rushing touchdown. The point after by Kevin Barbosa makes it Tracy 7 - Lodi 0
Q1, 4:07, TJ Fonua intercepts a Lodi pass at midfield.
Q1, 3:30, Ramsy Ahmad scores on a 17 yard rushing touchdown. Barbosa PAT makes it 14-0.
Q2, 8:55, 40 yard rushing TD by David Grisham. 20-0
Q2, 4:56, Kaeden Gulko keeps the ball for an approximate 20 yard TD to make it 26-0. He also scores on the 2 point conversion to up the score to 28-0.
Q2, 3:32, AJ Saenz intercepts deep in Tracy territory and returns to near mid field.
With 24 seconds left before the half, Ahmad scores on a 30 yard TD run. The 2 point conversion by Gulko makes it 36-0 at the half.
Q3, 3:00, Grisham scores again this time with a 34 yard rushing TD. 42-0.
Q4, Flames score with 46 seconds left to finish the game at 42-6.
The JV now gameplan for a road game vs Lincoln next Friday.

Scoring Summary:
Q1 - 8:16 Tracy recovers a fumble near midfield.
With 4:04 remaining in the quarter, Case Borges scores from 2 yards out to go up 7-0 after the Brady Brown point after.
A kickoff is completely mishandled by Edison but they recover from disaster and return it all the way through the Bulldog special teams to the Tracy 9. The Tracy defense holds at the goal line with just over 2 minutes left in the quarter.
Q2 - With 1:38 left in the half Edison gets on the board with an 80 yard touchdown run. Tracy 7- Edison 6.
Q3 - On the first drive of the 2nd half, Tracy rides on the success of Brady Brown moving the ball down the field and he eventually scores at the 8:22 mark. Edison 7 - Tracy 14.
Q3, 7:13 - Edison responds with a 59 yard touchdown run. Edison 13 - Tracy 14.
Q3 - Jayden Ballard McClellan has a nice return to the Edison 25. With 3:30 left in the quarter, Brown finds the end zone on a 1 yard run for his 2nd score of the game. Edison 13 - Tracy 21.
Brown finds Ramsey Ahmad over the middle on a nice pass completion and Ahmad shreds the defense for a TD to make it Edison 13 - Tracy 28.
Q4, 8:52, David Grisham scores on a 35 yard touchdown run to make it Edison 13 - Tracy 35 after the Brown kick.
The Bulldog JV team is now 4-2 overall and 1-0 in league heading into a road game at the Lodi Grape Bowl next Friday.

There was plenty of extra curricular activity on the field and along the sidelines in this game which had an influence on the outcome of this game. With emotions running high on both sides, Liberty pulled ahead in the 3rd quarter to give the Tracy JV their first loss of the season at 3-1.
Q1 - 7:54 Liberty scored on a 35 yard TD pass
With 40 seconds left in the quarter, Tracy was about to score and fumbled at the five yard line, but AJ Saenz was in perfect position at the goal line to pick up the ball in the end zone for the score. The point after by Brown was good to tie the game at 7-7.
Q2 - With 1:31 left in the half, Case Borges scored from 1 yard out to give Tracy a short lived 13-7 lead.
1:18 - Immediately after the Tracy score, Liberty struck with a 60 yard touchdown pass. The 2 point conversion was good and Liberty went up 15-13.
Liberty is flagged with several unsportsmanlike penalties to help give Tracy good field position on their final drive of the half. With the clock ticking down, Tracy is forced to settle for a field goal which was executed by Brady Brown to give Tracy a 16-15 lead at the half.
Q3 - 7:21 Some extracurricular activities by both sides caused a long stoppage and some ejections.
Liberty responded once play resumed with a 20 yard touchdown to go up 23-16 on the 2 point conversion.
At the end of the 3rd, Liberty scored again on a 46 yard touchdown pass. Liberty 29 - Tracy 16.
Q4 - 5:36 Liberty went up 35-16 on a 4 yard run.
3:22 - Xavier Davenport scored on a 13 yard touchdown reception from Brown 35-22. A 2 point conversion attempt was no good.

Q1 5:05 - Ramsy Ahmad would get the scoring started with a 20+ yard Pick 6 on the first Mtn House drive. The extra point by Brady Brown was good. 7-0.
A bad snap by Mountain House on a punt snap would eventually lead to a Ahmad rushing touchdown with 2:35 left in the quarter. The Brown kick made it 14-0.
Q2 - 9:47 - Brown found Mateo Anaya on a pass down the right side (approx 20 yards). 21-0
4:23 - Brown had a approx 20 yard rushing touchdown. 28-0
:29 seconds - Arjun Kalirai found Dougie Hewey on a pass over the middle to get one final score in the first half. Extra point made it 35-0 at halftime.
Q3, 9:42 - Logan Contreras had a long rushing touchdown. The kick was blocked 41-0.
Q4, 4:24 - Mountain House scores to make it 41-7.
Gavin Sandoval scores on a 12 yard run. It was setup by by a nice kickoff return earlier by David Grisham. Kaeden Gulko would rush for a 2 point conversion to finish off the scoring 49-7.

Tracy grinded the clock in the first quarter for approximately 8:30 of time on a 95 yard scoring drive featuring a heavy dose of running. A 1 yard touchdown run by David Grisham with 40 seconds left in the quarter put Tracy up 7-0.
The story remained pretty much the same in the 2nd quarter as the Tracy defense played tough and the offense launched another long drive later in the quarter culminating in a 41 yard touchdown pass from Brady Brown to Maddix Severson . The two point conversion was no good 13-0.
With the teams exchanging possessions in the 3rd quarter for no score, the game moved into the 4th where Tracy put 14 more on Turlock to closeout the game. Ramsey Ahmad would receive a pitch from Brown and speed 29 yards down the Tracy sidelines to go up 19-0 with 9:16 remaining.
With 2:39 left, Brown found Ahmad over the middle for a 22 yard touchdown pass. Brown then scored 2 more on a keeper for a 27-0 lead.
With Turlock driving late, Grisham intercepted at midfield to close out the game.

The JV Bulldogs scored very early in their 2024 season when Case Borges took a handoff from Brady Brown and raced down the field for a 6-0 lead. Brown would kick his first of several extra points to make it 7-0 with just 1 minute of clock spent.
After the JV defense did their part to shutdown West, the offense had two long plays called back preventing another quick scoring drive. The points would have to wait until 2 minutes left in the first quarter when Brown would get his first touchdown of the year from 2 yards out and then kick the point after. 14-0.
With 1:20 left in the quarter Ramsey Ahmad intercepted a pass near midfield. On the next play, Ryan Foster ran 29 yards to put Tracy up 21-0.
Q2 - Borges would get his second score of the game, this time on defense when he intercepted a pass and ran it in early in the 2nd quarter. 28-0.
With 4:29 left in the half, Kaeden Gulko scored on a pitch from Brown to give Tracy a 36-0 halftime lead.
In the 3rd quarter the Wolf Pack would eventually get on the board by achieving a safety on a high snap during a Tracy punt. The Pack would then close the game to 36-9 near the end of the 3rd on a 27 yard touchdown pass.
Tracy would get a 4th quarter score when Gavin Sandoval ran 45 yards from scrimmage. A 2 point conversion by Kaeden Gulko would finish the scoring at 44-9.
