Updated through the 2024 game.
Our thanks to alum Michael Banner who provided all this great information. A quick note about Michael:
I am a 1990 graduate of Tracy High, which in hindsight afforded me a front row seat to the conclusion of arguably the school's greatest decade of football performance. Couple this with being a former history major at Holy Names University (following my 20 years of serving active duty in the United States Navy) and a huge sports fan; what results is the embarking upon two ambitious book projects. One has a definite title, "Belly Plays, Winning Ways, Championship Days: Tracy High Bulldogs Football of the 1980s." While the other one is a comprehensive, in-depth historical analysis of Tracy High football during the 20th century, from its humble origins, beginning in 1921 through the 1999 season.
■ The Tracy Bulldogs-Lincoln Trojans football series first began in 1961, with 58 games played against each other overall, including two playoff games (1987 and 1991), both won by the Bulldogs. Between 1970-71, and then again during the 1996-01 time period, these two squads did not play each other. Tracy narrowly leads the series 29-28-1, but Lincoln has won 12 of the past 20 matchups.
■ The longest win streak in this series is 7, first achieved by the Bulldogs between 1977-83, before the Trojans matched this upon the resumption of the series in 2002 through the 2008 season matchup.
